Before you arrive
Call 207-655-3900 to schedule. If you have records from a previous vet, request them in advance so we can review your pet's full history.
A thorough exam
Dr. Doucette does a full nose-to-tail physical exam, no rushing. She reviews your pet's history, asks about diet, behavior, lifestyle, and any concerns you have.
An honest conversation
Everything is explained in plain language. You leave understanding your pet's health, not wondering what just happened.
A clear plan
Whether it's a wellness schedule, a follow-up, or a referral, you leave with a clear next step and our number if you have questions.
For your first appointment
- Previous vaccination records and medical history
- Any current medications
- A fresh stool sample for parasite screening (if possible)
- A list of your questions, there are no dumb questions
- Your pet's regular food if they have dietary sensitivities
- Collar, leash, or carrier appropriate for your pet
